Professional Organizer Pricing and Packages in NYC

Organization that holds up after we leave.

We work in homes, offices, and storage spaces across New York City. Every project starts with what you already own and how you live, not with a shopping list. We declutter first, and then we build systems for the way your household runs on a Tuesday, not the way it looks in a catalog.

One closet or the whole apartment? Pick the package that matches the size of the job. Still not sure? Book a Priority Reset, and we will tell you straight what the full job would take.

What Every ORG NYC Organizing Package Includes

Whichever in-home package you book, these come with it.

  • A team on site for every session: two organizers as standard, and three for moves and offices

  • Decluttering before anything is bought, so you are not paying to organize things you do not want

  • Donation removal. What is leaving gets sorted, bagged, labelled, matched to the right charity or consignment shop, and taken out with us

  • Materials at cost, approved by you before anything is ordered, and nothing plastic bought for the look of it

  • Labelling throughout, so the system survives other people using it

  • A written note or plan with every first project, so you know how the space works after we leave

The Priority Reset: One Space Organized in a Single Session

One session. One space. Immediate relief.

Start here

From $1,500

$300 per hour

  • Team of two organizers
  • Five-hour minimum

Included

  • A team of two professional organizers for the session
  • Basic organizing materials on hand when we arrive: bins, labels, liners, and dividers (approximately $100 in value)
  • Full declutter, sort, and reset of one space
  • Donation removal. We sort what is leaving, bag and label it, match it to the right charity or consignment shop, and take it out with us. Nothing is left in your hallway waiting for a pickup you have to arrange. Larger hauls are coordinated with our removal partner and scheduled before we finish for the day.
  • A short written note on how to keep the space the way we left it

Best for

  • A kitchen, primary closet, pantry, kids’ room, or home office that has gotten away from you
  • A storage unit or garage, at the same rate with the same team
  • Getting a space ready before guests, a move, a renovation, or a listing
  • Seeing how we work before committing to a larger project
Book a one-space reset

The fastest way to get one space back. We arrive with our own basic organizing materials, work the space end to end in a single session, and leave it finished, not half-sorted with bags in the hall.

Storage Units and Garages at the Priority Reset Rate

A storage unit or a garage is a Priority Reset like any other space, at the same rate, and most are done in a single session. We empty it, sort it, and rebuild it so things are reachable and zoned by how often you need them, with seasonal items in front and archive items at the back.

Storage and garage sessions also include a digital inventory at no extra charge: every box and bin photographed, numbered, and listed by contents, delivered to you as a searchable file after the session. You never open the door again wondering whether the thing you need is in there.

Most booked

From $5,775

$275 per hour

  • Team of two organizers
  • Three seven-hour sessions minimum

Included

  • A team of two professional organizers across all sessions
  • A $250 materials credit toward bins, baskets, and hardware sourced for your home
  • One complimentary hour of sourcing, where we find and price the right products for your space (a $150 value)
  • A written plan after session one: the order we will work in and what each space needs
  • Donation removal throughout. Sorted, bagged, matched to the right charity or consignment shop, and taken out with us at the end of each session, with larger hauls coordinated through our removal partner
  • Labelling throughout, so the system survives other people using it

Larger apartments will likely require more than three sessions. We would rather tell you that up front than run out of time in your entry closet.

Our flagship, and the package that changes how the whole home works. We go room by room, in order, decluttering first and building systems around what is left. The hourly rate is lower than a single session because every visit builds on the last. By the third one, we know where your keys land.

How Many Sessions Will I Need for a Full Home Edit?

Three sessions is the starting point and suits a one-bedroom or a focused project across a larger home. Most two-bedroom and larger apartments need more than three, often five to seven. We give you an honest estimate before the first session and update it after we have seen the space in person.

Office and Business Organization in New York City

Workspaces that work for the people in them.

From $2,625 for a typical seven-hour day

$375 per hour

  • Team of three organizers

Included

  • A team of three professional organizers, with a lead organizer running the day
  • Inventory-aware sorting: what stays on site, what goes to storage, and what leaves
  • Labelling and signage designed so a new hire can find things without asking
  • A written system handover, so the setup survives staff turnover
  • Priority scheduling. Business clients go to the front of the calendar, including at short notice

Best for

  • Sample closets, showrooms, and studio storage
  • Supply rooms, filing, and back-of-house in a growing office
  • A move, a build-out, or a team doubling in size

Your business cannot close for a week while we sort the sample closet. So we bring a team of three, work around your schedule, and turn the space around fast. Studios, showrooms, sample closets, back-of-house storage, and working offices all qualify.

Move-In Services: A New Home Set Up From Day One

Your new home, set up right the first time.

Our biggest

From $2,625 per day

$375 per hour

  • Team of three organizers

Always a team of three, because a move has to move.

Best for

  • A move into a new apartment or house anywhere in the city
  • Downsizing, where the decluttering is the whole job
  • A second home or a pied-à-terre being set up from scratch

Most moves run two to four days depending on the size of the home, plus sourcing hours before the move. We give an estimate after seeing both homes.

Plan my move-in

Moving is the one moment when a home can be set up properly from nothing: before the boxes become furniture, before the wrong things end up in the wrong rooms, and before you spend the next two years working around decisions made in a single exhausted afternoon. We treat it as the opportunity it is.

  1. Before the Move

    • A full declutter of the current home, so you are not paying to move things you do not want. This is the single largest saving in the whole process, and it is easier to do before a move than at any other time.
    • Donation removal and consignment as we go: sorted, bagged, matched to the right charity, and taken out
    • A room-by-room plan for the new home: what goes where, and why, before a single box is packed
    • Packing supervision and labelling coordinated with your movers, so boxes land in the right rooms
    • Measuring the new space and identifying what will and will not fit, while there is still time to act on it
  2. Materials Sourced and Ordered Before You Arrive

We source and order everything the new home needs, from closet systems and drawer inserts to pantry containers, shelving, and hardware, so it arrives before you do and the systems exist on day one rather than being retrofitted months later.

    • Sourcing is billed separately at $150 per hour, on top of the day rate. Materials are billed at cost and approved by you before ordering.
    • We handle delivery timing, returns, and anything that arrives wrong, so it is not on your list during a move
  3. Day One: A Great Night’s Sleep and Coffee in the Morning

This is the part that makes the difference. Before we leave on the first day, the rooms you need that night and the next morning are finished. Not unpacked, finished.

    • The primary bedroom is made up, clothes are hung, and drawers are filled, so you sleep properly on your first night rather than on a mattress next to a wall of boxes
    • The bathrooms are set up and stocked, so you can shower and get ready without opening a single box
    • The kitchen essentials are in place. The coffee maker is out, plugged in, and findable, with mugs, coffee, and the things you need for breakfast around it
A kitchen counter set up with the coffee maker, kettle, and mugs within reach

You wake up on your first morning in the new home; you find the coffee maker, and the day starts like an ordinary one. That is what we are selling.

  4. Then the Rest of the Home

    • Full unpack, room by room, in the order you need them
    • Every system built as we go: closets, pantry, linens, entry, kids’ rooms, and storage
    • Labelling throughout, so the household can maintain it without you
    • Box and packing-material removal, so the new home is not full of the last one
    • A walk-through at the end, and a written note on how everything is organized

Some people do not need a team in their home. They need a plan that fits them, and someone who shows up every two weeks to ask how it went without making them feel bad about the answer.

Declutter Coaching is a virtual program led by ORG NYC founder Ali. We build a personalized plan for your home, break it into pieces that fit your life, and work through it together on your schedule. It is the same framework we use in our ADHD-focused in-home work, adapted so you can run it yourself.

Programs are discounted against the single-session price, so booking ahead saves.

Coaching is led personally by Ali, and she takes on only two new clients each month.

Coaching clients receive a $250 credit toward any in-home package booked within six months. The coaching is the front door, not a detour.

Maintenance Sessions for Returning ORG NYC Clients

For homes we have already organized, keeping it that way.

From $1,000

$250 per hour

  • Team of two organizers
  • Four-hour minimum

Included

  • A team of two organizers who already know your home
  • Full reset of previously organized spaces
  • Seasonal rotation: wardrobes, sports equipment, and holiday storage
  • Re-labelling and system adjustments where the original setup no longer fits
  • Donation removal for whatever has accumulated since we were last there, sorted, bagged, and taken out with us

Scheduling

Most clients book quarterly. Sessions are available monthly, quarterly, or as needed, and only for homes we have organized before.

Book a seasonal reset

Life happens to a system. Seasons change, children grow, and a closet takes a beating over the holidays. Maintenance sessions put the home back to the state we left it in, and adjust the system where your life has moved on from it.

House Management and Concierge for NYC Households

We handle your life. You get one invoice a month.

$3,000 per month

Five hours a week

  • One dedicated organizer
  • Three-month minimum

This is the service for a household that does not want to manage anything: not the errands, not the contractors, and not the twelve separate charges those things generate. One organizer who knows your home, an agreed scope, and the judgment to handle what comes up without asking you first.

The Part Nobody Else Does: One Invoice

We put everything on our card. Groceries, the dry cleaner, the hardware store, the contractor’s deposit, the gift, the wrapping, and the shipping. You are not approving charges, chasing vendor invoices, reimbursing anyone, or reconciling a dozen line items across your statement.

At the end of the month, you get a single clean invoice: the monthly fee and purchases listed at cost. That is the whole administrative footprint of having your life handled.

Everything goes on our card. One monthly invoice, purchases at cost, nothing for you to reconcile.

What a Dedicated Organizer Handles

Errands and shopping

  • Grocery shopping, kitchen restocking, and bulk runs
  • Dry cleaning, tailoring, shoe repair, and laundry service drop-off and collection
  • Prescription pickups, the post office, UPS, and FedEx
  • Returns and exchanges made on time, and consignment drop-offs
  • Bakery, florist, and hardware store runs

Home management

  • Delivery, vendor, and repair coordination: scheduling it, being there for it, and following up when it goes wrong
  • Accepting packages that need a signature
  • Sourcing, vetting, scheduling, and overseeing contractors and vendors
  • Absentee home care while you travel: mail, plants, a walk-through, and a presence in the building
  • Researching and project-managing home repairs and improvements

Organization upkeep

  • Weekly system resets across your organized spaces: entry, closets, pantry, and playroom
  • Seasonal wardrobe and gear rotation
  • Ongoing decluttering as things come in, with donation and consignment removal handled
  • Restocking what runs out

Occasions and family

  • Gift research, shopping, wrapping, and shipping
  • Holiday preparation: card lists, mailings, hosting prep, and vendor coordination
  • Back-to-school and camp supplies, teacher gifts, and care packages
  • Packing and unpacking for travel, a move, a dorm, or a second home

How House Management Works

We agree on the scope in writing before the first month, so nothing is ambiguous in either direction. Hours can be taken as one longer day or split across the week. Additional hours beyond the five are billed at $175 per hour and appear on the same monthly invoice.

Three months minimum, because it takes about that long for an organizer to learn a household well enough to stop asking. After that, it continues month to month.

Questions About Professional Organizer Costs in New York City

How much does a professional organizer cost in NYC?

ORG NYC charges $250 to $375 an hour for the whole team, depending on the package. A one-space Priority Reset with two organizers starts at $1,500, and a Full Home Edit of three seven-hour sessions starts at $5,775.

Do you work outside Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens?

Yes. Those three boroughs are standard, and anywhere beyond them carries a $150 travel charge per session to cover the team’s transit time, quoted before you book.

Do professional organizers charge for bins and containers?

Basic materials come with the Priority Reset, and the Full Home Edit includes a $250 materials credit. Anything else is billed at cost and approved by you first, after we have used what you already own.

What happens to the things I decide not to keep?

We sort them, bag and label them, match them to the right charity or consignment shop, and take them out with us. Larger hauls go through our removal partner, scheduled before we finish.

Can I try one session before booking a bigger package?

Yes, that is what the Priority Reset is for. Five hours in one space shows you how we work, and if you book a Full Home Edit within 30 days, we credit the session against it.
